Virtual County Council Dist. 9 & Prosecutor Candidate Forum

Our typical WCA Candidate Forums during election years were very popular face-to-face, interactive, informative “speed dating” experiences. Due to Covid, we must hold our forums virtually. Candidates will have an opportunity to share brief introductory comments, and then address pre-submitted community questions.

Council Dist. 9 includes “dry side” Waimea – west of Pu’unani and White Road, as well as North Kohala, Kawaihae, Puako and Waikoloa.  County Prosecutor is an islandwide race.

The community is invited to submit a question relevant to these two races. Please email WaimeaCommunityAssociation@gmail.com. Deadline to submit questions is June 17.

To watch this forum, go to www.Facebook.com/WaimeaCommunityAssocation about 4:55 p.m. and watch for link that will be posted just at the start of the program.  After the fact, a YouTube  link will be posted to FB and here on the association’s website to watch a replay.

District 9 County Council Candidates include:
Philip (Ippy) Aiona
