This group, Discover Your Kuleana, is the result of recent community conversations hosted by Hawai’i Community Foundation on behalf of the Richard Smart Fund.
This project came to us while thinking deeply about what we love about Waimea, its people, and its traditions. And what we can do to nurture this special place and inspire others to do the same.
Discover Your Kuleana offers resources, events, and volunteer opportunities that both support the community and offer ways to deepen your relationship with Waimea. We aim to connect both new and long-time residents. All are welcome on this journey of discovery.
No RSVP - just come!
Our Discover Your Kuleana hui includes Vivienne Aronowitz, Max Aiona, Leandra Rouse, Chris Wong, Cietta Penn, Cathy Youtkus and Patti Cook - reach out to us if you have questions! MAHALO!
