"Songs for the Holiday" with Barbara Kopra directing. Featured music includes "An Appalachian Winter," a Christmas Cantata composed by Joseph Martin that celebrates the legacy of early American carols and hymnody. The second half will feature two Hebrew pieces, "Avinu Malkenu," and "Al Hanissim," as well as several popular holiday songs with an audience sing-a-long. Sixty five singers (aged 16-86) join 20 instrumentalists to share the holiday spirit. Tickets: $20 online at kahilutheatre.org, calling 885-6868 or at the theatre Box Office.
