2017 WCA TOWN MEETING SCHEDULE: 5:15-7 p.m., First Thursdays - usually in Waimea School Cafeteria (unless notified):

•Thurs., Jan. 4, 2018 – 2018 Legislative Preview (including possible purchase of vacant lot adjacent to post office and school), and exploring sustainable agriculture, food security and self-reliance.

•Thurs., Feb. 1, 2018 – Hawaiian Ethos – the licensed medical marijuana producers/distributors here in Lalamilo Farmlots

BELOW – Nov. 16, 2015: At last…after 30+ years of dreaming and heavy lifting, our Waimea District Park began to take shape with a formal groundbreaking on November 16, 2015!  Mahalo to all who have contributed to making this possible…State and County elected officials – past and present – County Parks & Rec staff, Parker Ranch, project consultants, and most important, our dedicated community leaders who never gave up and met as a volunteer hui week after week, month after month…a group that came to be known as the Waimea Park Builders, led by Mel & Paige Macy (3rd from left in photo below)!
